FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where are you located?

Dirt Rox LLC is a delivery only company servicing northern Utah and does not have a physical location.

Can you dump it in the driveway/yard?

Typically, deliveries are dumped curbside or in the driveway. A delivery waiver may be required to cross the curb, depending on the delivery vehicle and size of the load. Deliveries on a RV pad or backyard require proper clearance (width and height) and may include an additional cost. Ultimately the driver will have the final say as to where the material can be dumped.

What type of vehicle do you deliver in?

Our typical method of delivery is a truck and dump trailer. If larger loads are needed, we can have up to 20 tons of material delivered in one load. Delivery fees will vary by type of truck and customer location.

How much can you deliver in one load?

Our typical delivery is 1-5 tons of rock/dirt product or 1-15 yards of mulch product. Larger loads are available. Please call/contact for pricing and quantity.

How many tons are in a yard?

On average, one yard is approximately  1.25 tons. This may vary slightly depending on the type of material.

How much does one ton/yard cover?

On average, one ton of gravel will cover 100 sq/ft 2.5" deep. One yard of mulch will cover 100 sq/ft 3" deep.

How do I schedule a delivery and pay?

You can Request A Delivery on the website. You can also call or text 801-631-0798 (text preferred) to get on the schedule. Typically, payment on delivery is fine. We accept Venmo, card, or cash (driver does not carry change). Payment may be required upfront for some deliveries (larger loads, contract drivers, customer not present on delivery).

What is best for under concrete?

Customers commonly use road base or 3/4" Recycled Gravel for use under a concrete pad.

What is best for RV parking/driveway?

Some type of 3/4" to 1" crushed gravel is usually best for this application. 1" minus and 3/4" minus gravel are also commonly used.

What is "minus" gravel?

Minus means that the gravel will contain rocks from the stated size and down. For example, 3/4" minus gravel will contain rocks from 3/4" down to about 1/4".

Do you spread/install the material?

Yes, we work with partner companies that can install the material for an additional cost.
